Once you are done with website designing and all planning for business promotion the next step for perfect brand establishment is logo designing. Logos give particular identity to your business that stays on in the customers' mind. It also gives visual appeal to any web page as it is a unique graphical image that has the capability to draw the visitor's attention.

Logos can be of three types:

1. Text Logo

2. Symbolic logo

3. Combination of text and symbolic logo

In text logos words are being used in different formats, shapes and sizes to convey message to the customers. Font selection varies that determines its power and strength. Font that is slanted states movement whereas scripted ones denotes elegance and stability. You can also use your company name as logo here. But it should be able to show off your business qualities.

In symbolic logo the symbol is used as the image for logo that conveys your business and act as its representative. Symbols don't have the direct impact as the text logo thus audience can have multiple interpretation about your business.

As the name suggests text and symbolic logo type contains combination of both text and symbol. It has to complement the public image of your company. This type of logos sometimes are very helpful in conveying your company information and message.

Use logos that complement your business in a professional manner. Some companies might require conservative logo whereas some might need logos that are contemporary. For abstract look adding appropriate shape and symbol can be a good idea.

Keep your logo as simple as possible so that it can penetrate easily in people's mind and stay on for longer time duration. Simpler logos are much easier to to be reconstructed and recolored when required by your logo designer. Keep logos of various sizes, print as well as its web version. Your initial design aim has to be planned beforehand for achieving the business goal.

The logo you select should be unique, original and easily to be associated with. Any business owner wishes that their logo should be visual representation of their company and people remember only about their company and not anyone else. Avoid making it a piece of a ClipArt, instead ask the logo designer to create a unique design. Create logos that are free from any copyright or trademarks issues. If accidentally you happen to design a logo that is similar to that of another company logo than redesign it.
