Usage of stop words like a, and, but, if, etc should be minimal and used wherever necessary. Always try to keep the length of your title tag minimum that too inclusive of the spaces. If possible implement and use webcopy tactics in html title tag. Placement of the keywords in the title tag should be done according to its importance level, more important one have to be placed in the first part.

Main aim of search engines using html title tags is to summarize the content of your website aiming at the target audience. It should be crafted in a better skilled manner than your competitors. Therefore it takes much more hard work and insight of getting a title tag that is visible in the search engine results.
