Search Engine Optimization starts from the ground up. Build your website with SEO elements early in the website development phase.

Making sure that a website is built with search engine optimization in mind is one of the most important tasks any website owner can do. Organic search results, which basically means your search engine ranking for strategic keywords, is the most fundamental form of search engine optimization. It is very important that your website achieves a high ranking in search engines, especially Google search. The goal of this article is explain why developing your SEO campaign and your website itself go hand in hand.

Strategic Keywords

While developing content for your website please keep in mind the strategic keywords that identify your business. A great tool to understand which keywords are searched the most for a particular item is Google’s Adword Keyword Tool. It is extremely necessary to analyze your competition that already has high rankings for powerful keywords that you’re interested in utilizing. If you are trying to compete with companies that have been established for a long time and have very high pagerank ratings with particular keywords, you’re in trouble. You must get creative and think outside the box. Figure out what key phrases are unique but also carry a decent volume of queries. Use key phrases throughout your heading tags and in page titles. During the development phase, build your URL’s so they carry the keyphrase within the actual hyperlink itself. For example http://navicrate.com/blog/small-business-web-design-checklist

Internal SEO

Although most of your optimization will be with your keywords and content, the development itself can play a large role in making your site more search engine friendly. Layouts constructed in an atypical fashion which places the main column before the left and right column. Therefore, as the main column loads the vast majority of your content and component, it is logical to assume that this is where your most important data is collated. Subsequently, you will want Google to crawl that first before moving on to the other elements.

Overall, it is definitely possible to create a powerful SEO campaign after your website is already completed and running live, but it makes much more sense to build your website with SEO in mind from the initial development stages. It can save you a lot of time doing tedious adjustments to titles, headers, meta keywords and descriptions. Build your website SEO ready from the start and save time!
