Textaurant is a service that allows you to check in at a restaurant through their web service. When the restaurant knows that your table will be ready, they send a text message to your phone so you know when to arrive. This works in a similar way to the remote notification systems that many restaurants use, but are more convenient because you wait in the comfort of your own home.
