LEE Industries 40th Anniversary Party

When LEE Industries wanted to send out invitations for their industry party
in Highpoint, North Carolina they turned to Phase 3 Media for fresh ideas.
LEE was celebrating the launch of their company 40 years ago. We developed
an invitation around the Apollo 11 lunar landing which also occurred 40
years ago. The invitation was designed in the black and white television
broadcast style of the 1960's and included a custom design 40th anniversary
logo. An audio CD was included with a recorded invitation from mission
control. The invitations were mailed in silver space envelopes with custom
addressed mailing labels that read "We're going back, and this time you're
invited". NASA style credentials were also created for employees and guest
to wear at the party.

(LEE industries is a company big into sustainability and uses natural
products in its manufacturing process. Keeping that in mind we produced the
invitation on an environmentally friendly stock that is made my Mohawk and
is manufactured using wind power.)
