This may seem simple, but the most cost-effective way of getting your content published the way that you want, is to do your homework first. Find the message and pictures that communicate your business or service. Find what makes your services unique. In a world of disconnect caused by the Internet, nothing is more engaging online than a personalized, sincere communication. Show customers how they will benefit from your service. Find your story and then find a web company that can get that message polished and published online. Case in point: All Day Home Improvements was a simple site that we tackled a few months back. The company owner came to us after having gone with an out-sourced solution for their previous site. They already had their message spelled out, and lots of photos of their company's portfolio work. The stength of their message was their portfolio, with specific clients' needs being described and how they were met. However, they came to us because they needed a website that presented that same sense of quality that they had worked hard to convey in their own business. As a web design company, we were able to take their message and their work, and present it in a clear and engaging way to potential customers. If All Day Home Improvements hadn't taken the time to prepare to present their business through pictures and written descriptions, we would have had to do a great deal more leg work on our end, resulting in a larger bill for them. Without a message, and without images to support that message, no amount of good looking web design can make a business really look good. So find your story and write it down. Chances are, if you're the business owner, you know very well what you are about and what makes your services better from the competition.
