We are a small nonprofit who paid for services from PointinDesign by Kelly Letros. She required a 25% deposit and suggested that we do business with her directly instead of going through a vendor site. After receiving our money, she sent an email saying she was not able to work with her clients. We asked about a refund and she never responded. A few months went by and another design project deadline came up, we asked if she would be able to work on this one and she said yes. We gave her all of the information set a deadline date. And never heard from her again. After a few subsequent emails asking about the status of this project and receiving no response, we found her mobile number and called. She first asked to call us back. Then on the third time she just hung up the phone when I announced who I was and where I was from. We are now in the process of taking Kelly Letros and PointinDesign to the Canadian small claims court. It's just not right to prey on small nonprofits. I would steer clear of working with this designer. You cannot trust that she will respond. She could have handled this more professionally and made a way to make it better for us, but I am going to spend my time alerting everyone this is not the person to invest with your business.
