Interactive Visual Designer

At Creo we are working with tech start-ups on projects ranging from branding and responsive web design to comprehensive app development. We are looking for a stellar designer with a passion for the interactive: an individual who can sling front-end code with ease and seamlessly bridge project handoffs between design and development.
RESPONSIBILITIES

Collaborate with project teams to create interfaces based on user feedback and best practices
Develop and maintain interface library for re-useable UI elements
Participate in research, planning, and brainstorming with product teams
Contribute to the culture of continuous improvement; looking for ways to improve the process of developing and releasing quality software meeting customer needs.

REQUIREMENTS

2+ years experience in interactive design or front-end web design
Strong experience with Adobe Creative Suite
Strong design skills, attention to pixel-perfect detail, and the ability to turn concepts and sketches into beautiful designs
Ability to generate, work from, and contribute to site maps, user stories, use cases, story boards and “the grid”
Hand-coding ability in HTML, CSS
Enjoy working in an agile development environment with aggressive release schedules
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Bachelors in Fine Arts, Graphic Design or Media Studies

PLUSES

Experience with modern web technologies such as Canvas, Processing, SVG and CSS3 animations
Experience with jQuery
Experience with version control
