Technical Support Engineer
We are looking for a dedicated and reliable Technical Support Engineer to help our customers with their technical integration with the Gengo API and other tools.
You will support clients all around the globe, both in person and via Zendesk and Skype.
Succeeding in this role involves learning everything you can about our system, our customers, our translators and most importantly, the technical possibilities, benefits, features and limitations of our products. This role requires fast learning, the ability to know when you need more help, and the proactive attitude to learn and work with new systems comfortably.
Provide best-in-class technical advice and support for Gengo’s customers using the API and String.
Assist on, and close your own sales by providing smooth technical integration.
Be a reliable, friendly and positive face for customer support.
Be a bridge that communicates user needs to product/dev team, and product improvements to users.
Experience providing technical support to customers or working as a customer-facing freelancer.
Experience in a major programming language. This is not a role for someone with no technical experience.
Fluent in English with good writing skills
Flexibility in working over different programming languages (e.g. ability to switch between Python, PHP, Java is a big plus)
Creativity in overcoming product limitations (either Gengo’s or client’s)
Organized, consistent workflow and collaboration with project managers
Ability to communicate with enthusiasm about Gengo services
Proactive about working with limited resources
