As Associate Creative Director, my tasks consisted of developing integrated brand campaigns, advertising and identity for a variety of clients. My experience in concepting, art direction, and taking the creative lead helped this busy agency land new business and produce successful creative campaigns for clients including Meritage Homes, Fort McDowell Yavapai Nation, InterContinental Montelucia Resort, Spa & Residential Community, Scottsdale Waterfront, Chaparral Pines and The Rim Golf Club.

While a key member of the creative team, I brainstormed, concepted, designed, created, researched, and produced successful intelligence-based advertising and marketing campaigns. Clients included Hunter Douglas, Royal Palms Resort & Spa, Kronos Optimal Health Centre, First National Bank of Arizona, The Phoenician Resort & Spa, Rich Dad Poor Dad, Pointe South Mountain Resort, Tempe Convention and Visitors Bureau, UPS Teleservices, Maracay Homes, As You Wish Pottery, ErgoScience, and The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center. Awards won: two Addys for Royal Palms and Otto Awards for successful results-based campaigns from the Arizona Direct Marketing Association.

Concepted, designed and produced national advertisements, logos, web sites, newsletters, packaging, catalogs, sales sheets, and corporate collateral for high-volume, fast-paced in-house creative department. Coordinated with major clients such as Coca-Cola, Pepsi, Universal Studios, DC Comics, Hasbro, Tonka and United Parcel Service to market licensed motorsports programs and merchandise, including racing souvenirs, toys and apparel.

Worked closely, under tight deadlines, with editors, webmasters, publishers trade show coordinators and printers to design, produce, coordinate, proof, and pre-press trade publications for a variety of niche markets including embroidery business, mini-storage, advertising specialties, and tanning industry. Created and designed trade show booth displays for the related industries.

Designed and produced Northern Ohio Live, a regional monthly arts, entertainment, and lifestyle consumer magazine. Responsibilities included photography and illustration direction, features and special section design, production/printing schedule coordination, printer and vendor liaison and creative department budgeting. Concepted and completed major magazine redesign.

Responsibilities included design, layout and production of monthly national trade magazine. Concurrently served as art director for in-house advertising agency producing national ads, brochures, logos, direct mail campaigns, trade show displays, and corporate collateral pieces. Employee of the month, April 1988.

Expert knowledge and skills on Macintosh OSX with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Quark Xpress. Very technically and mechanically adept and accurate.
