I am ambitious, creative, and driven to succeed. My goal is to obtain as much hands on experience as I can in Design Industry so that I may further my development as a graphic artist. I enjoy working with other open minded young adults and strive to be in an environment where I may do so.

Work Experience:

May 1998- Oct. 2004 Customer Service, Part time Management, Cook
Christy's Carryout, Vandalia, OH
I worked in customer service (taking orders and preparing the deliveries for the drivers). I also acted as manager in the absence of our full time management. I also designed my first poster for this company and designed the fliers that accompanied the pizzas on delivery. This was a seasonal job during high school and into college. This job gave me some of the funds needed to pay for college and taught me the meaning of "good work ethic".

Jan. 2002- Oct. 2002, Sales Representative

I was a commissioned sales person selling home theatre and car audio equipment. I also took part in planning point-of-purchase displays and installing equipment for custom car installations.

Oct. 2002- June 2003, Tattoo Artist

I was an apprentice under David Kleiber (owner and artist). General duties included cleaning and prepping stations for other artists and scheduling appointments. I was certified through OSHA in Blood Born Pathogen and Infection Control (as part of my training), as well as Proper Sterilization Techniques (for the autoclave, ultrasonic machine, and tattoo equipment).

I handled transactions, customer service, training of cashiers, inventory, POP displays and maintaining the general cleanliness and appearance of the store. I also ordered parts from our DC and handled specialty part orders.

Design graphics for screen printing garments and promotional products, and design graphics to be digitized for embroidery and heat transfer. I also participated in the layout of the new website for the shop, maintaining other web-based profiles for the company (myspace.com) and generated sales for the company by working as an independent sales person.
