design/Develop/Maintain - initial solicitation

Description

after initial statements of interest, we will post a list of domain names to give you a sense of the long-term scope of the website deployment that we wish to achieve - over time of course! the list will be a selection from the inventory which we hold. You should see this list by next Monday March 23rd or before.

Please review it and identify those sites which are less ambitious than EXPORTS.CA. - This is a portal site and its development should wait until we have a relationship with a freelancer with whom our comfort level has grown.

My objective is to demonstrate to co-investors that we can deploy sites economically - at first - and demonstrate that our web properties (DNs right now)can generate revenue.

After that has started happening, the strategy is to move on to the more ambitious, content intensive and more expensive sites. From the responses received so far, we realize that EXPORTS.CA is quite open-ended - the target market is quite diffuse, and the content will be a permanent and intense work-in-progress.

For this reason we are approaching the first engagement cautiously.

We are looking to establish an ongoing relationship that will develop into a mutually rewarding experience. For us - a reliable, creative and competent web design/maintenance partner; for the freelancer a long-term customer/partner.

Important for both of us is that the relationship will be made viable by the revenue generated from these initial domains/sites we deploy.

These initial sites will be mostly \"infopreneur\" sites. Suitable for highly targeted SEO, and on which we can soon generate ad/referral revenue to justify their development.

Additional Needs

We are deploying several low-budget sites that can suit highly targeted SEO and content. We are looking to quickly demonstrate that our portfolio of domains - several hundred collected over 10 years - would generate significant revenue if deployed as \"infopreneurial\" in the fiorst instance. With this stream of revenues the co-investors will be conditioned to fund the development of additional, more ambitious, sites.

Purpose

We own - hurricanes.org; weather site that as a parking page generates decent income \"in season\". Now wish to deploy targetted hurricane/weather site. This is a sample of what we intend. We have accumulated domain properties for 10 years and now intend to deploy on a steady schedule, - always subject of course to revenue performance!
