The Company We Kept Album Artwork Design Project

Description

The Navidson Record, an electronic and rock music band, is in need of artwork for their upcoming EP release, titled \"The Company We Kept.\" We\'d like the art to be original and expressive, and we\'d like for the artist to be able to do both the design for the band\'s Myspace home page, as well as the covers and inserts for the album itself. The art must flow together, and therefore must be by the same creator if at all possible. We\'d need this as soon as is possible without sacrificing quality. The art will be for a standard sized CD case, and will be promoted and distributed nation wide through Lottman Distribution, as well as being sold online and in Apple\'s iTunes store. We would like for our art to be serial, and depending on the final product, we will likely be seeking to work with the designer closely throughout our career. We\'d like someone experienced with working with bands, though we\'re willing to give new talent some serious consideration.

Purpose

We\'d like to have professional artwork for our EP which will be widely circulated and promoted. We\'d like if at all possible, for the artwork to match and coordinate to the band\'s Myspace profile page, as well.

Competition

Competition is simply among the designers. We\'re out for the best design that suits the music and our tastes. We\'re not competing with other bands for the best art, we simply want what\'s best for our band\'s appearance.
