To whom it may concern,

I am looking to create a dynamic user-generated website that is mainly text based (except for graphics). In other words, there will be no photo or video uploads. Essentially, it would be a site where users meet to discuss financial topics.

What I envision:
- A simple main login and registration page
- A user-specific page or portal, which users are taken to after login
- Users can create a \"community\" or group page (where content is restricted to a pre-specified form or template), which any user can join
- On a group page, users can blog or write comments regarding the contents of that specific page

This is the basic underlying technical feature of the site, where additional non-core specs may be added. Possible non-core specs:

- Direct communication between users
- Simple user generated group surveys
- User notification of updates from joined groups

I would like to know how much a site development of this nature would cost and how long it may take to create it.
