Mykonospa.com is an official retailer of Pandora Jewelry in Pennsylvania. It is one of the few places online where shoppers can purchase authentic Pandora beads, Pandora bracelets, Pandora charms and more. The client sought our help in wanting to expand their business online so that they would be able to set themselves apart from their competition. After consulting with the client, we decided that it would be best to work on an ecommerce web site design that would not only appeal to the client's target audience/consumers but also to various search engines for optimization purposes. The first part of the web site design that we worked on was adding a flash application called 'Build a Pandora Bracelet' where users would be able to construct their very own, unique Pandora bracelet for purchase. Next, we added a drag and drop feature to the web site. The purpose behind this feature was simply to make the web site more user-friendly. To this application, we added two items: 1) a shopping cart into the flash application that would allow any user to easily purchase all of the beads and charms, etc. that he or she had created and 2) a print button that would provide users with a print out of each product they had purchased, a sku and a brief description.
